This professional person’s tooth was “falling out” on its own. At the Center for Restorative Dentistry, we placed a very strong implant and placed a temporary post. We “hollowed out” and fit the patient’s own tooth to it! When a tooth can be placed on an implant at the time of implant placement must be decided on a case by case basis. It is important that the surgical and restorative phases be well integrated and where possible, by a practitioner well versed in each discipline.
