When Stephen T. Swallow, DDS, opened his practice in 1974, dentistry was on the cusp of dramatic advancements. Determined to keep pace with these revolutionary developments and to make them available in the Seacoast area, Dr. Swallow undertook his own ambitious program of continuing education. It is a commitment that continues today, now shared by Dr. Brendan Hallisey.

Dr. Hallissey joined the Center for Restorative Dentistry in 2012 to help Dr. Swallow continue the tradition of comprehensive dental care with a commitment to excellence.  Together, they provide many advanced treatments, including laser dentistry and 3D CT guided implant replacement of teeth.

Both Dr. Hallissey and Dr. Swallow are committed to staffing their practice with professionals who share their devotion to providing patients in the Portsmouth, NH, and Kittery, ME, area  with the most modern dentistry that the profession offers. In pursuit of this goal, not just Dr. Swallow and Dr. Hallissey, but also all of their staff have closely followed advancements in the dental profession, continually studying and expanding their own expertise in new techniques.

The practice was renamed the Center for Restorative Dentistry in 2003 to reflect the broad scope of services offered. Today, the Center provides all phases of restorative and periodontal treatment as well as general dental services. Dr. Hallissey, Dr. Swallow and their staff also work closely with the finest general dentists, endodontists, orthodontists,  pedodontists, and oral surgeons in the Portsmouth/Kittery area.

Dr. Swallow and Dr. Hallissey look forward meeting you and discussing your oral health.
